               Off in the distance you can see a spectacular view of the Himuro Mansion.The moon often casts such a mood that makes the mansion appear even more eerie. It disturbs me sometimes, to the extent that i become tempted to close these shutters. It, at the same time fascinates me. I've performed a couple of studies about this historical site. I've both admired it and feared it.

               I've been living alone for quite some time (three years, to be exact). My family is originally from Narita. But I was born and raised in the United States. We've returned after an entire eighteen years. Stories of the Japanese tradition have fascinated me so much, that I've decided to leave my home for a few. Figured that some cultural immersion should do me some good. Getting in touch with my true roots.

Allow me to introduce myself.

           She passed by like a plane overhead. Some of us barely noticed, some were asking for it. Some didn't care. There were those who wept, those who laughed, those who never felt a thing. And I was a bit of everything.

           And I am among those who are counting down.

            Her colors remind me of a summer sorbet, the kind they usually sell at your local grocer. Light enough to sooth the throat and cleanse the palatte. Brought together into a symphony of the most insane light.

            Here at home, smells come from this window before me. Something burns? But to me is the essence of a thousand seeds of sesame being tossed in a hot skillet. A sudden fascination for Chinese cuisine.

            I feel the love.

             My jeep bound for San Fernando passes the Sindalan branch of some Pilipino burger institution without fail. You see him scarfing two kinds of yums. You get home from work, grab the remote and put up your feet, hoping for a lil' relaxation. The first thing you see is some vitamin commercial and this guy who says he wants to be COMPLETE. And it doesn't end there. His face is posted on this billboard that advertises a particular cleaning gel. It's bright red and high on the NLEX. You can't miss it.

             Ladies faint at the sound of his voice and a glimpse of his character smile. If you ask me, I must be blind. I see nothing but teeth. Gotta give this tweny-something teen scream some credit. He's got some soft character.

              If it's one thing he's really good at, and I mean really-- is falling in love. It's like it's all he does. Why doesn't he take his own advice: "Don't go looking for love, let it come to you". He sung about it... He's got a great voice, but it wouldn't hurt to have a lil' original compositions on his CDs....
